Helal Uddin Eshan
As a camera news reporter, Eshaan could never comprehend the attraction of many towards wedding cinematography. When he ventured into the wedding industry, he realized the incredible power of story-telling. The beautiful shots in our films of a bride’s dupatta sliding behind her, sometimes her split-second smiles, or the couple moving towards each other – all on him.
If you had a lot of time to spare, what would you do?
I would retrieve my collection of Humayun Ahmed, Byomkesh Bakshi, plus other detective novels and simply read all day.
If you had millions of dollars to spend on whatever you wanted for just 24 hours, what would you spend on?
I plan to splurge on the powerful Red Dragon camera, the classic Blackmagic Pocket cinema camera, and my dream girl, the Arri Alexa camera set.
If you were an animal, which would you be?
A panda, obviously.
Why do you like cinematography?
Unlike photography, the recording procedure is almost a continuous process, where my camera will capture anything and everything. Even if I ignore, my camera remembers that a bride had dropped one of her earrings, the food running short, even a child got lost in the crowd. In a fast-paced environment of a wedding, me and my camera can really slow down time.
